I appreciate your desire to connect your career to providing security to the people in your country, - Prime Minister noted in his address to the young participants of the career development forum of Ministry of Interior

Around 200 alumni of 13 universities participate in the forum. They will be given the employment opportunity at the vacancies within the agency.

Head of the Government thanked Minister of Interior Giorgi Mghebrishvili and his team for organizing the forum and underlined importance of involvement of young people in the ongoing reforms.

"When seeing young people like this, I feel optimistic. It is a very pleasant day, since this is kind of an open day at the police and the Interior Ministry. Youth involvement in the process of reforms and changes is extremely important. Only the educated youth will be able to craft our country's future. This is the purpose of the process in which we are involved now. Participation of each of you in bringing of positive changes to our country is extremely important. I want to wish you success. I would also like to wish success to the Ministry of Interior, because safety of each of the individual in this country is largely dependent on your achievements. That shall be the supreme goal for all of us, for our government and for our citizens, "- Prime Minister indicated and elaborated that without joint endeavors on the part of the Government and citizens said goal cannot be achieved.

The Prime Minister wished success to the Academy of the Ministry of Interior and welcomed initiative of Minister of Interior to increase the coverage and range of functions of the Academy to transform it into the international educational center. Pursuant to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Government has very ambitious plans in terms of education.

"Education is the most important and strategic area in terms of building the future of our country. Georgia shall establish itself as an international education hub. The first step taken by Ministry of Interior and the Police Academy is very bold and very important. We will ensure maximum support to this strategy", - Prime Minister noted.

Head of the Government inspected the technology and equipment of the participating departments, and received information on the training process at the Academy of Ministry of Interior - including those related to the recognition of travel documents. Prime Minister listened to a presentation about distance learning. Via new program, he had a conversation with the cadets in regions. Prime Minister and Minister of Interior inspected the simulated border crossing point, real and virtual shooting gallery and the swimming pool of the Academy. Arrest of armed person was also simulated for the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
