One of the largest companies of China CEFC is interested in investing in Georgia - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the representatives of the company discussed the specific investment fields and projects during today's meeting.

Head of the Government provided the investors with detailed information on the investment opportunities in Georgia including in the areas of energy, finance and tourism. The conversation also touched upon transportation and logistics.

During the meeting sides agreed to set up a working group within the frames of which all the interesting opportunities for investors will be discussed. The Chair of the Working Group from the Georgian side will be y the first Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili.

The sides also agreed on holding an investment forum in Shanghai where the head office of the CEFC is located during the next month.

CEFC - one of the largest companies is operating in the area of energy, finances and industry. Its annual turnover equals 35 billion USD. The company conducts investments throughout European countries, including Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania.

The meeting was attended by CEFC's Chairman Ye Jianming, CEFC Executive Director Zang Jianjun, Director General of KazMunayGas International Zhanat Tusupbekov, Senior Vice President of the company Azamat Zhangulov and Managing Director Omar Mustafin attended the meeting. The Georgian side was represented by the first Vice Prime Minister Dimitry Kumsishvili, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Energy Kakha kaladze, Deputy Minister Mariam Valiashvili, Prime Minister's Assistant, Secretary of the Economic Council Giorgi Gakharia.
