Starting from today, the residents of Varketili-Vazisubani district will enjoy the pediatric and adult inpatient services on spot - the multifunctional hospital equipped with high technology with 100-bed capacity was opened today on the territory of Tbilisi Sea by the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili alongside with Minister of Healthcare David Sergeenko, Director General of "Hualing Group" Wang Shengxin and the Director General of "Tbilisi Sea Hospital" Tea Akhaladze.
"Tbilisi Sea Hospital" alongside with the "Hualing Group" undertook an investment in an amount of 4.5 million GEL and employed 477 people.
According to the Prime Minister, residents of Varketili-Vazisubani had to receive medical services in other districts of the capital, whereas currently they will obtain medical treatment provided by high-tech clinic in their own district.
"The investor is "Hualing Group" - investor that is very important for our country. Generally, I would say that economic relations with China are developing very rapidly. This multifunctional hospital is really a very important facility for this district and residents of VArketili-Vazisubani. I want to wish everyone health, but, of course, it is important to have a healthcare center like this and this is a novelty for this area. The facility employs more than 400 employees and nearly 5 million was invested, "- Prime Minister noted.
Head of the Government noted that "Hualing Group" expands investments in Georgia and relevant talks were conducted in 2014 during his visit to Urumqi. The Prime Minister also recalled the successful visit to Georgia of the Chinese Vice Prime Minister, during which the representatives of the two countries discussed the further strengthening of economic relations.
"We shall expect a lot of investment from China in the near future. Even today, I have a meeting with a couple of business representatives who are interested in investing in logistics and transportation. I would like to congratulate them on this important investment. A number of such units will be opened in the area, which is very important ", - Prime Minister indicated.
