Starting from June 8 the pre-election period has officially begun in Georgia, hence a number of regulations enters into force in accordance with the law, - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted in his conversation with journalists while commenting on this topic.
Pursuant to Prime Minister, this indicates that the standard of pre-election period in Georgia has significantly improved.
"Accordingly, the usage of administrative resources during the election campaign is restricted. This is a step forward in terms of democracy and we believe that the consultations, which were held with the President and the Parliament, have brought very significant results ", - Prime Minister noted.
According to the decree adopted at the Cabinet Session, the regulation setting the date of elections was countersigned.
