Instead of Tamar Sanikidze, Aleksandre Jejelava will take the post of Minister of Education, - Prime Minister presented the new member of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked Tamar Sanikidze for her exemplary efforts while performing ministerial duties and noted that many reformatory steps were taken in view of improving quality and access to education. The results of these efforts are already noticeable.
Pursuant to the Prime Minister, Tamar Sanikidze will remain in the team and her new important mandate will became known in the near future.

Extremely experienced person, with more than 20 years of involvement in the managerial field, person with vision concerning the future development of system of education, - Prime Minister presented new Minister of Education Aleksandre Jejelava.
"After graduating from Komarovi school with honors, he graduated from Tbilisi State University and ESM Business School that is currently known as Free University. His vast experience in information technologies, innovations and most importantly and education fully complies with priorities of our 4-point reform plan. I mean fields of professional education and retraining of employees, etc. He is a Chair of the Management Academy board. Recently I had number of discussions and debates with him and hence I decided to select his candidacy for the post of a Minister of Education. We definitely need expertise based vision for the further development of the education system," - Prime Minister noted.

The head of the government considers that the current education system holds the key to our future development and is a strategic field. Alongside with other reforms, country's future development and dynamics is dependent upon successful transformation of this field.
"I am quite optimistic. I hope and believe that we will continue groundbreaking reforms as a one team," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.
Prime Minister wished Tamar Sanikidze every success in the exercise of her mandate in the same field and Aleksandre Jejelava, who, according the Prime Minister is a very valuable and important asset to the company.
