Two hotels that are being constructed within the frames of "Panorama Tbilisi" project and hotel and spa complex that will be built in Shekvetili are unified under the "Autograph Collection" - highest class of Marriot facilities. Georgian Co-Investment Fund and international hotel network Marriott signed the relevant agreement today. Prime Minister of Georgia attended the ceremony.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili assessed the interest of Marriott towards the project of the Georgian Co-Investment Fund. Prime Minister expressed hope that high class hotels will soon be created in Georgia, thus ameliorating the image of the country and fostering economy and tourism development.

"Marriott demonstrated an interest towards the project worth half a billion that was initiated by the Co-Investment Fund - three hotels that are currently being constructed, that is aimed at development of economy and tourist infrastructure in Georgia. Entrance of the Marriot high class brand that ranks among the top three most prestigious labelsto Georgian market indicates not only the stable development of Georgia, but becomes increasingly relevant and demanded among the business circles.

This is the first instance, when the brand enters three hotels simultaneously: construction of two hotels is planned within the frames of "Panorama" project - "Sololaki Hills" and "Freedom Square". Construction works of "Shekvetili Hotel" are being finalized.

I find it particularly striking that upon taking the decision, Marriott paid particular attention to the unique blend of the hotels with the landscape, originality of the project as well as its eco-friendliness and individuality were particularly accentuated," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted in his speech.
Pursuant to the Prime Minister, the number of tourists in Georgia is growing sufficiently. Therefore, Government shall pay particular attention to the development of infrastructure.
"I would like to express my satisfaction with the fact that number of tourists growing on monthly rather than yearly basis. This statistics indicates that Georgia is gradually becoming one of the most attractive regional and worldwide destinations. Our duty is to pay particular attention to the development of infrastructure and entrance of such a high-profile investor to Georgia serves to this purpose," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili emphasized.

Two hotels on Sololaki hills and Freedom Square, Tbilisi as well as hotel in Shekvetiliare being constructed with the support of Georgian Co-Investment Fund. The overall cost of the project is 365 million USD. All three hotels are united under the high class Autograph Collection of Marriott brand. 1200 permanent working places will be created within the frames of the project.
