Georgia always awaits you, - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili addressed the Georgian diaspora gathered at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Saviour in London. Head of the Government of Georgia attended the celebratory sermon on St. Andrew's day. Upon the ceremony he had a conversation with Georgians living in London. Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulated Georgians and noted that he is glad to see the centre of Georgian Orthodox Christianity in London.

"There is a movie by Georgian director Levan Koghuashvili named "Home". The film depicts preservation of Georgian traditions and influence of Georgian culture in upbringing of the children in the USA, amidst the walls of Georgian church. It is vitally important that there is a centre of Georgian Orthodox Christianity in London that gives Georgian families an opportunity to gather. Georgia always awaits you. However, I will not urge all of you to return. I am not sure whether such endorsement would have been correct or not. Many of you living here may be contributing to development of your motherland to the full extent. We love you and we are waiting for you. I would like to congratulate all of you and persons close to you on this day and wish you happiness," - Prime minister addressed the representatives of diaspora. He extended particular gratitude to businessman Tamaz Somkhishvili who purchased the church and granted it to the Patriarchate of Georgia. Pursuant to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, this is an immense gift for Georgia and this is not a sole example of such type of charity undertaken by the Georgian businessman.

After the sermon, Prime Minister met the representatives of Georgian diaspora in informal environment and responded to all of their questions.
