Prime Minister of Georgia attended the official opening ceremony of the US-Georgian exercise "Noble Partner 2016".
The exercise taking place at Vaziani Training Area was initiated with the performance of the anthem of USA, United Kingdom and Georgia. The invited guests that military personnel participating in the trainings paid tribute to the memory of soldiers deceased during the military operations and international missions with a moment of silence. Demonstrative exercise was conducted during the event.
"Georgian-US-British military exercises is crucial. It is of utmost importance. First and foremost, it is politically important in terms of strengthening of defense capacities of Georgian troops. This implies that the security of Georgia and sound sleep of our nationals lie within the only route, which is cooperation with West and our strategic partners and there are no alternatives to that," - Prime Minister noted after the event.
President of Georgia, members of the legislative and executive branches of the government and representatives of diplomatic corps attended the opening ceremony of "Noble Partner 2016".
