Some people tend to confuse decision-making ability with authoritarianism, - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili responded to the accusations brought up by several politicians against him.
He dismissed the statements regarding the fact that he lacks decision-making skills as absurd. Pursuant to him, the Government of Georgia have adopted all strategically important decisions without impediments.

"Allegations concerning the decision-making ability are groundless. Government of Georgia has adopted all strategic decisions without delay and today is a clear example of this. Georgia is developing in the direction of European and Euro-Atlantic integration," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.
Pursuant to him, Georgia has undergone an important period, strengthened its democratic institutions and has never diverted from its strategic route that it follows consistently. Prime Minister noted that security of Georgia and sound sleep of nationals lie within the sole route - cooperation with the Western partners.
"We can say that we have substantially different pre-election environment. Statements that are contradictory to the general strategic route shall be considered as a natural occurrence during the transitional period. However, the development vector of Georgia is of utmost importance and there are no question marks regarding this issue. This is vitally important. It is also noteworthy that the ruling party is a living organism that requires perpetual renewal and we all are undergoing this process. Hence, all the anxiety caused by these processes is inappropriate and represents a sole attempt of political self-assertion. Such kind of activity will only harm the international image of the country. I would like to urge all individuals causing much ado about this issue to look at the decisions made by the country, scrutinize the strategic course that is consistently followed by the country. There are no bypasses in this regard," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.

Prime Minister also commented on the allegations concerning the structural changes in the government that have been circulating in the media and noted that there are no plans regarding modifications in the near future. He did not dismiss the chance of such modifications in pre-election period.
"The structural changes within the Government are not planned in the near future. However as we enter the pre-election period, modifications shall not be excluded. I would like to note that the Prime Minister is a head of the Cabinet pf Ministers and he has full legitimate authority to indicate a statement made by the member of the Cabinet. The turmoil caused by this fact is inappropriate and meaningless. I would like to define once again that I would not be surprised at such kind of comments if they had been made by the representatives of the opposition party. However, such statements, if they are made by the members of the Cabinet, shall be regarded as inacceptable and inappropriate," - Prime Minister noted.
