Prime Minister of Georgia attended the gala concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishing relations between EU and Georgia and Georgia's independence. After the termination of the concert, celebratory reception was organized on behalf of the EU Ambassador Janos Herman.

"Celebration of the European Day in Georgia is a result of joint efforts. We altogether achieved that Georgia has become even closer to its European family. We are also preparing for the 25th anniversary of restoration of Georgia's independence this year. We also have an opportunity to review 25 years of cooperation between the EU and Georgia. These have been very interesting and important years," - the EU Ambassador Janos Herman noted in his speech. He also congratulated State Opera of Georgia on becoming the member of the Opera Europa.

The President of Georgia as well as the members of the legislative and executive branches of the government attended the concert and celebratory reception held at the Opera House. The European Days in Georgia will continue till May 24.
