Poland is not only a friend to Georgia, but also a model country in terms of our European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, - Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili addressed the guests of the Poland's Constitution Day celebratory reception.
The Head of the Government congratulated Poland on its national holiday and elaborated on the friendship between Georgia and Poland.
"It is a great day that became foundation of today's Poland. We share the trust in sacrifices in name of fighting for independence and freedom of our nations and better future for our citizens. Strength and heroism of Polish people was exemplary for other post-Soviet nations. Poland has been successful in its way towards European Union and NATO and we follow your footsteps. We cooperate in numerous sectors. Poland's generous assistance to Georgia serves to Europeanisation and democratization of our institutions and legislative framework. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the unwavering support to Georgia's independence and territorial integrity. Happy Constitution Day! "- the Prime Minister stated.
Ambassador of Poland Anjei Chieshkovski thanked Prime Minister for attending the celebratory reception and noted that Poland strongly supports European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia. The Poland's Constitution day celebratory reception was attended by the representatives of legislative and executive branches of government, diplomatic corps and NGOs.
