Resolution of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers "Council of Europe and the Conflict in Georgia" is an additional evidence of the fact that Georgia is becoming one of the top priorities on the agenda of the international community, - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili assessed respective document during today's Cabinet session.

Pursuant to the head of the Government, respective resolution, adopted by the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers is a clear recognition of the fact of human rights violations in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region and imposes direct obligation of ensuring protection of the rights of ethnic Georgians to the country that exercises effective control over these territory - Russian Federation. The rights in question include freedom of acquiring education on Georgian, property rights, freedom of movement across the administrative dividing line, etc.

"We consider that raising of the Georgian issue on international arena once again is crucial," - Prime Minister declared and thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs, representatives of other state agencies and head of the Georgian Mission to the Council of Europe - Konstantine Korkelia for the provided work.
