Japan's one of the largest steel cable and metal structure production companies Tokyo Rope reviews the possibility of establishing a plant in Georgia, - respective statement was made by Shigeto Tanaka, the chairman of Tokyo Rope during his meeting with the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

The representatives of the company are getting acquainted with the Government's plan of the development of the infrastructural projects and consider that there is a large potential in this area in Georgia.

"Our company is 130 years old. It is one of the oldest companies in Japan and is world-renowned in the area of steel cable production. We have arrived in Georgia to explore the program of developing infrastructural objects, including road construction, etc. Georgia is a mountainous country, we see a great potential here and we discuss the possibility of constructing one of our plants in Georgia, since we conduct worldwide production," - Shigeto Tanaka, the chairman of Tokyo Rope noted after the meeting.

Tokyo Rope is a world-renowned company producing metal constructions, nets for holding stones and steel wires for the hanging bridges.
