I would like to extend my congratulations to all our compatriots, all orthodox Christians on the event of one of the greatest Christian holidays and wish you health, longevity and unification of Georgia, - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulated orthodox Christians.

Prime Minister, alongside with his wife attended the Easter liturgy delivered by the Catholics Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II n the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi.

"I would like to congratulate all of you on the holiday of Easter. This is the greatest holiday , this is the celebration of victory of kindness over the evil forces," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.

Prime Minister also elaborated on the importance of issues addressed by the Patriarch in his sermon.
"The main idea of the sermon was the importance of humility. I guess that abstaining from judgment of others is the basis of knowing thyself and humility. Hence, Patriarch's address to Georgians was very important. The sermon was important, since Patriarch also emphasized the importance of development of local industry, agriculture and we have to listen to his words," - Prime Minister said.

The sermon was attended by representatives of legislative and executive branches of government.
