Prime Minister considers that cooperation with Russia is only possible upon establishing of relations that will be based on respect to territorial integrity and sovereignty, - Giorgi Kvirikashvili responded to the statement of deputy foreign minister of Russian Federation Grigory Karasin.
Pursuant to Prime Minister, Georgia strives to minimize escalation and switch to the negotiations mode with Russia.
"While discussing attitudes in Georgia, Russian politicians shall pay particular attention to their own approaches. Respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia is the essential prerequisite for further normalization of relations. This will not happen at the expense of our territorial integrity or foreign vector. No compromise is possible in this case, however, we will spare no effort to minimize escalation and switch to the negotiations mode, where it will be possible to discuss solving of problems," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.
