The Government meeting was held at the State Chancellery of Georgia. The Cabinet of Ministers discussed 24 issues according to the agenda, 1 issue was added, 6 issues were postponed for the additional consideration, and 19 issues were approved.
The Ministry of Health presented amendments to the resolution "on determination of the social package", according to which, the social package will be reimbursed to the family members of those persons who has died in war or to war participants, who has died in post-war period.
The Government approved the proposal of the Ministry of Justice, according to which, the law "on recognition of the victims of political repressions of the citizens of Georgia and their social protection" will be amended. The applicable law does not provide the minimal/maximal amount of compensation for the victims of the political repression.
The Ministry of Finance presented the draft amendments to the law "on road transport" at today's meeting. According to the amendments, the Revenue Service, which was providing only control so far, is allowed to present permit certificates and the related documents, according to the rules on passenger and cargo transportation.
