New cooling facility has been built with financial support of the State in Sagarejo municipality, which employs almost 30 local residents.
Cooling facility can store fruits and vegetables in the total volume of 500 tons.
Investments in the total value of 578 000 GEL have been made in the enterprise equipped with machinery of advanced standards, including the funding from the Rural Development Agency in the volume of 231 200 GEL and a concessional agro-industrial loan in the value of 289 000 GEL.
Rural Development Agency has supported almost 50 cooling and warehouse facilities within the scope of its grant financing programs in the total value exceeding 23 MLN GEL.
Over 220 agro-industrial enterprises have been incorporated in the sector of agriculture with support of the State.
