New public school built in the village of Ptena, Akhalkalaki Municipality

This modern-standard building is fully adapted for students with special educational needs.

The new school features a computer classroom equipped with modern devices and latest technologies, also a science lab, a library, artistic spaces, and a cafeteria.

A recreation area has been built on school premises.

Despite the pandemic, educational infrastructure projects were implemented without delays
throughout 2020, with:


  • 30 schools built
  • Construction of 60 schools to be finalized in 2021
  • Wet areas rehabilitated in almost 800 public schools
  • 9 public schools have been fully rehabilitated, and over 150 public schools have been partially
  • rehabilitated

Rehabilitation has started in more than 100 public schools.
