Based on the Government's decision, Olympic and Paralympic champions, also winners of chess Olympiads, will enjoy double monthly stipends amounting to 2,000 GEL.
The list of stipend beneficiaries will also include winners of Olympic and Paralympic medals: 800 GEL a month for silver medal winners, and 500 GEL a month for bronze medal winners.
In addition, adult world champions in Olympic sports will enjoy 800-GEL monthly stipends, and European champions in Olympic sports will receive 400-GEL monthly stipends.
State support for sports will continue.
