A kindergarten has been built with advanced standards in Gudauri settlement of Kazbegi Municipality.
No kindergarten existed as yet in Gudauri.
Construction of the kindergarten has created additional jobs in Gudauri.
Kindergarten is equipped with all the essential items. Building is adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities.
Front yard and access road have been arranged to the kindergarten as well.
It is worth noting that Gudauri has a status of a highland settlement. A number of projects are implemented by the State in support of highlanders and development of high-terrain regions in the country.
After the enforcement of the Law on Highlanders, following initiatives have been witnessed in high-terrain regions:
Supplement to the monthly state pension (+20%) is paid to local residents.
Pensions paid to highlanders have been 288 GEL a month, while the age pensioners are getting 330 GEL a month.
Supplement is paid to the medical staff:
To doctors - twice as much as a state pension;
To nurses - as much as a state pension;
(Supplement is paid to medical staff employed at healthcare facilities incorporated with equity participation and under management of the State).
School teachers are getting a supplement to the base salary - no less than 35% of the due base
In addition, salaries paid to teachers are increasing on a constant basis. They are earmarked to increase in 2021 as well.
Allowances are paid for the addition to the family:
For the first and second children - 100 GEL a month for 1 year;
For the third and following children - 200 GEL a month for 2 years;
Supplement is paid to the beneficiaries of social security package (+20%);
Concession will apply on the consumption of power energy:
State funding applies to 50% of the consumed power energy, however not exceeding 100 kw/hr.
It is worth noting that utility bills of households are paid for by the State nation-wide during the pandemic, in the first case for 3 months of past winter under the first wave of COVID-19 and now for 4 months of winter.
Supplement is paid to coaches (50 GEL and above);
Entities with a status of highlander enterprises benefit from tax concessions.
