The construction of cableways in Chiatura is in the final phase.
Specialists from French companies Poma and TechCable have become actively involved in the construction works. They arrived in Georgia several days ago, after the resumption of air travel for business visitors.
As of now, the construction of the constructive part and the installation of the cable in two directions have been completed. The construction of two more directions of the cable, the testing of stations, and the process of ensuring the observance of standards of safety are still underway.
The Central Station and the routes leading to four destinations will be fully restored as a result of the completion of the construction of cableways and stations.
The Municipal Development Fund plans to complete the construction works in the fall of this year.
In accordance with the rules established by the Interagency Coordination Council, the French specialists from TechCable and Poma are undergoing PCR testing once every three days. This will continue for a period of 14 days. All regulations in force in Georgia are also observed during the construction process.
