New enterprise is being built with State support in Rustavi. It will be commissioned in 4 months and will create 3000 jobs.
Total investment injected in the construction of the Georgian Textile amounts 20 MLN GEL, half of which is a concessional loan allocated through Produce in Georgia. Real estate has also been transferred to the enterprise within the scope of the referred program.
New enterprise is built by Adjara Textile. It already has 3 sewing plants in Batumi, Poti and Kobuleti. It employs 3500 people.
Enterprise cooperates with such leading international companies as: Nike, Adidas, Puma, Lotto, Erima. List will soon be extended to include New Balance and Under Armour.
Enterprise is 100% oriented to export markets. It annually produces and exports output in excess of 15 000 000 items .
Produce in Georgia stands out with its statistics in the industry: 363 projects have been supported with a total investment of 796.1 MLN GEL, out of which supplementing commercial bank loans are approved in the volume of 508 MLN GEL. Over 16 050 jobs will be created overall.
