More than 2,500 people have retained their jobs as a result of the creation of quarantine spaces.

Georgia is one of the successful examples in the world in terms of the use of quarantine spaces for prevention. As practice has shown, establishing a quarantine regime was one of the most important and effective decisions for the prevention of the spread of the virus.

The creation of quarantine spaces began at an early stage and the government conducted active negotiations with small, medium, and large hotels.

A total of 85 hotels (up to 6,650 rooms) throughout the entire country were involved in the process. As of today, more than 23,000 people have gone through mandatory quarantine.
