Kakha Samkharadze Appointed as Shida Kartli Governor Print Version

By the decree of the Government of Georgia, Kakha Samkharadze has been appointed State Rtsmunebuli Governor of Shida Kartli.

In 2014-2015, Kakha Samkharadze served as First Deputy Gamgebeli of the Tetritskaro Municipality. At various times, he held senior positions in the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan/Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum oil/gas pipelines. In addition, he also managed the USAID-funded Humanitarian Aid Program. The newly appointed Shida Kartli Governor graduated from the Agricultural University of Georgia.
Kakha Samkharadze replaces Ioseb Okromelidze who has served as State Governor ad interim of Shida Kartli.
