The Delegation is headed by the second Deputy Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, Thomas Melia. The meeting was also attended by arepresentative of the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, Vendi Silverman, Assistant of the Administrator of the US International Development Agency for Europe and Eurasia, Peig Alexander, and a representative of the US Department of Justice, Administration of Public Prosecution Development, Assistance and Training Abroad, Kathryn Newcomb.

The Prime Minister meets with members of the US Department of State Delegation"This was the second meeting of ours. At first, we met several weeks before the elections. The meeting was very interesting and I think that relations between America and Georgia will become even deeper", pointed out Bidzina Ivanishvili after the meeting.
