Zurab Abashidze responded to yesterday's statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, and pointed out that his meeting with a representative of Russian government is really being planned for the nearest future.
"We would like to welcome the yesterday's statement of Sergey Lavrov, and confirm that my unofficial meeting with a representative of Russian side is really being planned for the nearest future. Place and time of the meeting in Europe is being specified. We have also accepted Mr. Lavrovs's comment that Moscow is ready to restore commercial-economic relations with Georgia positively. We would like to emphasize that we are ready for solid and constructive dialogue with Russian Federation", stated Zurab Abashidze.
According to Zurab Abashidze, the meeting will be held in one of the European countries, presumably - in Switzerland.
