Prime Minister visited Professional College ''Ikarosi'' Print Version

Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili and State Minister for Employment Paata Trapaidze visited Tbilisi Professional College "Ikarosi". The College was opened in 2007 and is focused on training of maintenance staff of lower and middle level-management. Three major programs are functioning at the College: culinary arts, restaurant business, food and beverage service and hotel management.

Prime Minister was introduced to the learning process and college expansion plans. According to the representatives of the college, from the opening until present the college prepared 3,000 students, of which 76% are employed. During the conversation with students Vano Merabishvili noted that along with the increase in number of tourists in Georgia the number of hotels and restaurants will increase too and professions, mastered in the college "Ikarosi" will become more demanded.
