On November 18, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, met with the Prime Minister of Republic of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, who had arrived in Batumi to participate in the Commission meeting. "Trade turnover between us has grown by 40%. Greatest number of tourists arrives from Armenia to Georgia. We have a very good political relations and very important economic relations. (At the meeting) we have talked about several energy projects, transit perspectives, transport," pointed out Nika Gilauri.

This is very effective; it takes twice as little time to cross the border and pass customs procedures. We are implementing a similar project at the border of Armenia," declared the Prime Minister of Georgia after signing the protocol of the Intergovernmental Commission Meeting of Economic Cooperation of Georgia-Armenia.
