The Prime Minister of Georgia met face to face with Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh RasmussenThe message, I would like to deliver, is that Georgia's aspiration for NATO is not a priority of any of the political parties. This is not a priority of our government only. This is the issue of consensus of the whole public and the whole country. According to the survey conducted, 80% of the public supports aspiration for NATO. Many things have been changed after Bucharest summit. Many reforms have been carried out in Georgia.

Issues on the agenda are being discussed with respect to Court, economy. According to the World Bank, we are number 1 reforming country, due to implementing these reforms. reformation of bureaucracy have been carried out. The most important reform is fighting against corruption. According to the information of Transparency International, Georgia is the less corrupt country in the world. Only 3% considers that there is corruption in the country. We are in a similar position as big countries, such as Great Britain, etc.The Prime Minister of Georgia met face to face with Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen

The Prime Minister of Georgia met face to face with Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh RasmussenWe have carried out reforms in all fields. This is successful to us in economic as well as in other respects. All reforms have not been finished yet. Unemployment and economic problems are very important but according to macroeconomic parameters, Georgia may be considered as one of the healthy countries in the world.

We are exporters of our reforms. Many countries say that corruption, nondemocratic institutions, unprotection of human rights are part of their everyday right. This was so in Georgia as well, but for up to seven years, we have proved that we would like to carry out pro-NATO and pro-European Union policy. These are the main achievements. Many countries around us Ukraine, Moldova, Arabian countries visit Georgia, in order to study Georgian reforms and how to fight against corruption. These are important steps that have been taken."
