On October 25, 2011 the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, attended the 14th conference of American-Georgian Business Council held at Courtyard Marriot Hotel.
At the conference, issues of competitiveness of Georgia in energy, infrastructure, agricultural, tourism and wine sectors were discussed. As the Prime Minister pointed out, the meeting was attended by the companies, which have relations with America and made investments in Georgia.
"There are companies who have American partners, conduct certain trade to America, or American companies who have made investments in Georgia. These are the companies interested in Georgian economy. Particularly, in today's situation, when the world economy is in a very bad condition, many countries have decreased index of development, while Georgia maintains stable macroeconomic parameters, continues economic growth and thus, attracts international investments," declared Nika Gilauri.
