Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri held a briefing On October 20, 2011, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri held a briefing with respect to personnel changes at the Government Chancellery. We present the Prime Minister's speech:

"Good day. I would like to thank Bakur for the work he has done. He worked for the Ministry of Agriculture for six years and from this, as the Minister of Agriculture for more than three years. He has done many good things during this period: vintage problem has been settled, production of agriculture as well as export has been increased. Respectively, I would like to thank Bakur Kvezereli very much.

But we have considered that new vision, new energy is needed. I would like to introduce the new Minister of Agriculture, Zaza Gorozia. He has worked as the Governor of Samegrelo Region for six years. During this period, he coped with his work very well. I would like to wish him success.

Agriculture is a higher-priority field for our government. It is very important that the next year budget is formed with the new Minister. We hope that the novelties and success we have achieved in the field of agriculture will deepen next year and we will have greater success to this direction."
