The Administration of the Georgian Government, together with the EU Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), is hosting two-day meetings on the Eastern Partnership's (EaP) public administration reform.

The meeting was opened by Head of the Government Administration Revaz Javelidze, EU Ambassador to Georgia Pawel Herczynski, and Head of SIGMA Gregor Virant.

Representatives of the Governments of Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are actively engaged in the event. The meetings are attended online by representatives of the Governments of Finland and France.

Within the scope of the two-day working meetings, the participants will discuss public administration principles, EaP countries' challenges and achievements, including matters pertaining to European integration. The participant countries will also review prospects of deeper cooperation formats and opportunities.

The public administration reform was launched in Georgia in 2015. OECD/SIGMA is based on the EU's public administration principles and encompassed 5 key directions: policy planning and coordination, public service delivery and human resource management, accountability, state service delivery and public finance management. The public administration reform is designed to forge an accountable and effective state administration system in the country.
