Maka Peradze to Lead Government Administration’s Human Rights Secretariat Print Version

Maka Peradze has been appointed Head of the Human Rights Secretariat at the Administration of the Government.

Maka Peradze has extensive experience holding various positions in the Interior Ministry, including as Deputy Director of the Department for Human Rights Protection and Investigation Quality Monitoring and Head of Project Management. She has also worked in the Interior Ministry's Administration and the Section for Cooperation with Euro-Atlantic Structures.

Throughout her service career, Maka Peradze, in cooperation with international and local partners, has been actively engaged and initiated numerous far-reaching projects designed to prevent domestic violence, protect the rights of juvenile delinquents, and promote the implementation of Georgia's human rights strategic goals. She also has experience working in the private sector.

Maka Peradze is fluent in the English and Russian languages.

Maka Peradze is appointed Head of the Human Rights Secretariat at the Administration of the Government to replace Ana Buchukuri, who has been elected Member of the 10th Parliament of Georgia.
