Utterly successful and productive meetings have been held at the European Parliament, European Commission and NATO. Discussions were related to the future of Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, which naturally requires concrete steps to be made from our partners as well, which the Prime Minister underlined at a number of occasions. It was stated by Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of Government Administration while commenting on the Prime Minister's visit to Brussels.

According to her, democratic reforms implemented in the country, situation in the occupied regions and a new role of Georgia in the Black Sea region were discussed at the high-level meetings, along with a significance of physical closeness with the EU both in economic and security dimensions.

Natia Mezvrishvili noted that international partners deem the election reform implemented by the authorities of the country as being positive.

"Discussions were related to democratic reforms that Georgia has implemented in recent years. From our side, we of course expressed readiness to continue the democratic process and reforms. Our partners notably pledged their support towards this end in each dimension of our reforms. Election system reform implemented by the authorities of Georgia was considered as being positive. The Prime Minister underlined the significance of holding elections in a peaceful, fair and democratic environment. The Head of Government once again stressed at a high level that humanitarian crisis is witnessed in the occupied territories and our citizens have to routinely cope with it. New role of Georgia in the Black Sea region has been discussed and the significance of physical closeness with the EU has been underlined both in economic and security dimensions" concluded the Head of Government Administration.
