Today, Prime Minister's Advisor on Human Rights and Gender Equality - Lela Akiashvili held a working meeting with human rights, anti-discrimination, and equality organizations.
The meeting was dedicated to developing the Chapter 15 of the National Human Rights Action Plan 2018-2020. Matters, such as combatting hate crimes, raising awareness on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) issues, and enhancement of social and health services in light of SOGI specifics, were discussed with civic organizations.
According to Lela Akiashvili, it is vital to approve Chapter 15 of the National Human Rights Action Plan 2018-2020 in the nearest future, as obligation was assumed in 2018.
