The meeting of the Government of Georgia was held on January 18, 2010 . The Agenda covered 21 items
The Ptime Minister Nika Gilauri talked about priority trends for 2010 prior to the meeting.
"In 2010 the Government will concentrate its attention on healthcare and education fields. Although much has been done in these fields still much is to do.
Last week the President voiced several innovations at the meeting with teachers in Batumi, which are to be accomplished in the near future. I would ask Dimitri Shashkin to prepare presentation regarding the terms of fulfillment of promises.
Furthermore, we are in close collaboration with the insurance companies. I would like to ask Sandro Kvitashvili to provide presentation of innovations planned in this field at the nearest meeting of the Government.
I wish to accentuate one of the innovations. We will offer the society new standards related to hospitals and the people insured under the State programs. The person insured by the State shall not refer to unfit and low standard hospitals. New standards developed by us shall come into force upon the second half of the next year." - the Prime Minister declared.
