On January 12, 2009 a meeting of the Government of Georgia was held. The Agenda covered 12 issues.
Prior to beginning of the meeting the Prime Minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili made a comment upon his health condition and the tittle-tattle spread around this matter. "I'm sorry but my treatment has took much more time than it was planned, although I feel much sorry because of this tittle-tattle and ballyhoo which was caused by the article on my health in the Georgian press. When I read an article on this subject in the Russian press I just began to laugh, though after the press and some political figures showed enthusiasm in this aspect which is my private matter, is wasn't, of course, funny any more. I want to state expressively that the Government works and worked in order to attain the goals which are primary - keep work places and try to avert this economic crisis in Georgia, said Grigol Mgaloblishvili.
