Government of Georgia – Appearance 2009

As it is known in the beginning of January the Prime Minister underwent the instrumental and laboratory examination in Germany because of worsening of his state of health. The German doctors diagnosed his disease as nephropathy (inflammatory process in kidneys resulted from infection) and appointed the two-week treatment.

On January 17 Gega Mgaloblishvili was placed at Tbilisi Republican Hospital. He complained of high arterial pressure , headache and general discomfort. There he underwent the laboratory and paraclinical tests (ECG, echocardiography etc.) The prime Minister revealed small ischemic effects on ECG which were corrected by medicines in the shortest time. On January 19 at 20:00 the Prime Minister was discharged from the hospital. At this stage his state of health is satisfactory and he needs no stay at the hospital.

On January 19 with the assistance of telemedicine together with the german specialists was held the consilium and was decided that the Prime Minister will leave for Germany again for assessment of the treatment process.
