The Prime Minister gave the first assignment to the Finance Minister

09 February, the Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri started his first working day with the meeting with the Finance Minister Kakha Baindurashvili at the State Chancellery and gave him the first assignment. "I have been working over this issue when I was holding the position of the Finance Minister. I asked Kakha Baindurashvili to help forward the process of reduction of expenditures of the top-level officials. I mean administration costs: fuel, telephone costs and urgent travel allowances, costs spent for cars. To ensure addition economic incentive, the said costs must be directed to cheap money, I mean reduction up to 10 million lari. The administration costs in the presented budget are reduced to the maximum extent. There are also certain reserves.

All the administration costs which can be reduced, especially concerning high officials, will be reduced to the limit.", said Nika Gilauri.
