Visit of the Georgian Prime Minister to Shida Kartli

June 6, the Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli was in Shida Kartli.

Zurab Nogaideli's visit started with inspection of Natakhtari section of the motor highway under construction. The Prime Minister checked on the process of asphalting of the 18-kilometer road carpet. Reinstating of the road surfacing of Natakhtari Section costs the State 47 million lari. The works will be finished at the end of September. "This is one of our main projects. This year we've started construction of the motor highway from Tbilisi to the west. Everything goes as planned. Cars will drive along this road at the end of September" - stated Zurab Nogaideli.

Then the Prime Minister visited Orthopedic - Traumatology Hospital under construction in Surami. He checked on current construction of the bridge connecting 6 villages in Tskhisi Village.

The Prime Minister toured Agara Mill, checked on the progress of major overhaul of Agara Secondary School and inspected Pilot Seedling Farm of Bebnisi Village, Kareli Region.

Zurab Nogaideli was especially pleased with construction of drinking water channel in Gori: "The city will have continuous water supply from September and this is the most important project for Gori which we are implementing this year".

The Prime Minister attended presentation and consideration of the current projects implemented in the Region which was held in the Regional Administration/Office Building.

At the end of the visit Zurab Nogaideli and Minister of Culture, Monuments protection and Sport Giorgi Gabashvili attended opening of Judo School Building in Gori.
