On August 29 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli met representatives of the customer sector.
They discussed the Presidential initiative in connection with the training program. The meeting was attended by the labor, health and social affairs minister Vladimer Chipashvili and director of the state agency for social aid and employment Levan Peradze.
Zurab Noghaideli asked Vladimer Chipashvili to meet once more the representatives of the customer sector and consider in more details the organizational issues. The program begins to operate since September 15 and by that time all technical work shall be completed.
The director of the state agency for social aid and employment talked about the details of that program.
The program will be implemented in ten cities of Georgia, were established the centers where all applicants will find the relevant occupation or training. In turn, various companies are seeking persons with occupation they need, they will provide trainings and will select the desirable and admissible for them persons for required positions.
"We started meetings in connection with the new presidential initiative with the representatives of various sectors. I would like to provide more detailed information about this in order to outline jointly the ways of our future work. Under the employment program in Georgia are established the vocational training centers. Before the year end will be created 11 such centers. The rate of economic growth in Georgia is high. This year the economic growth rate is about 10%, only in your sector was fixed the economic growth rate at 18%. According to this economic growth the country requires the identical consumer service. The number of tourists and guests increased. Also increased the traffics with various countries. Every year we have the tendency of economic growth and the consumer service shall be also of high level. We shall provide the high level of consumer service with our joint efforts,"- stated the Prime Minister at the meeting.
At the meeting were distributed the application forms to be filled up to September 15. The state agency for social aid and employment will begin its activity from the beginning of September.
