Prime Minister of Georgia Takes a Ride in New Modernized Train

On 20 November today, the Prime Minister of Georgia has taken a ride in the new modernized train. From Tbilisi Central Station, Grigol Mgaloblishvili traveled to Grakali Bridge to check on the works being done there. The Prime Minister familiarized himself with the works done in the Car Repair Plant. The Plant spent 780000 Lari to modernize a six-car train. The Plant intends to repair 1600 cars within the next two years. The Prime Minister shared the experience of the first trip with Minister of Economic Development Ekaterine Sharashidze.

"Everything that was damaged during the war will be rehabilitated just as Grakali Bridge has been restored. However, we must be aware of the dimensions that the global economic crisis is taking on. Global corporations are suffering bankruptcy each day. Unfortunately, all of this bears on the Georgian economy, too. This must give us additional motivation to do much more to employ people. Railway is the best example for it," Grigol Mglaloblishvili said.
