Masatsugu Asakawa, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), congratulates Irakli Kobakhidze on his appointment to a new position. Asakawa's congratulatory letter reads that, as a reliable partner, the ADB will continue supporting Georgia's development.
"On behalf of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), I wish to extend our warmest congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of Georgia.
"I am looking forward to further strengthening our relationship with Georgia under your steadfast leadership, following successful cooperation on a wide range of priorities. These include joint efforts to address climate change impacts and support decarbonization, promote inclusive economic growth, and facilitate private sector development.
"Also, I would like to emphasize my gratitude to the Government of Georgia for hosting the 57th ADB Annual Meeting in Tbilisi this May. We are truly honored by your government's generosity and excellent arrangements. I am looking forward to a successful Annual Meeting.
