"I express my sorrow over the death of a famous Georgian medical doctor working in Germany - Prof. Vladimer Aleksi-Meskhishvili. Especially noteworthy is his support to the medical community of Georgia. He constantly shared the contemporary achievements in the field with many generations of Georgian cardiac surgeons. This is a true manifestation of love towards one's own homeland and true patriotism.
