I join Tbilisi State Medical University in celebrating its 91stanniversary. Since inception, it has been a major hub of higher medical education and the development of medical science in Georgia, continuing this tradition to this day.
The pandemic has clearly demonstrated how important it is for the country to have highly professional medical personnel. And these vital assets are educated and trained by the Medical University that takes pride in doctors raised by it. Better still, exceptional selflessness and dedication have been exhibited throughout the pandemic not only by acting medical personnel, but also by the university's retired academic community, along with students brought up and drawing on the values of Tbilisi State Medical University and the examples of previous generations.
Once again, I wish a Happy 91th Anniversary to the faculty, staff, graduates, and students of Tbilisi State Medical University. I thank each and every one of them for their tireless work, and I wish them success in their professional endeavors.
