The conference focused on three main topics: the growing role of women in the political and economic arena; the growing role of women in peace and security issues; and the elimination of violence against women and girls.

    Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Kanayo F. Nwanze, President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), one of the major donors of Georgia's agricultural sector. The meeting focused on growth and development across Georgia's agricultural sector, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation with IFAD.
