Government of Georgia – Appearance 2006

On April 4 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Nogaideli toured the Joint-Stock Company TBILAVIAMSHENI and familiarized with the types of the products produced.
TBILAVIAMSHENI produces 8 types of products, including: reactive attack plane, civil four-seat and seven-seat reactive small air planes, TAMJET and TAMAIR, gas heaters, high pressure polyethylene tubes. The company also repairs and redesigns helicopters and attack plane SU-25.

According to the Prime Minister, TBILAVIAMSHENI is one of the leading companies where 2500 persons are employed. Zurab Nogaideli considers maintenance of expert potential of the company as the key objective.

Zurab Nogaideli suggested the Director of the Company Pantiko Todria to repair civil aviation helicopters. He said that it was possible to repair these old helicopters the Government would be ready to sign a contract with the enterprise.

This year TBILAVIAMSHENI will finish payment of the main part of debts of Georgia before Turkmenistan accumulated during the last years.

Furthermore, TBILAVIAMSHENI cooperates with the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and redesigns helicopters for the Georgian armed forces.

According to Pantiko Tordia, this year the Company will present the new civil reactive planes TAMJET and TAMAIR for obtaining certificates and will start selling them from the end of the next year.

The Company TBILAVIAMSHENI has a good future, said the Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli while touring the enterprise.
