Meeting with President of Romanian Senate
2017-04-27 The Georgian prime Minister's state visit to Bucharest continues. Tody Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited the Parliament of Romania and held a meeting with President Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu of the Romanian Senate. "Georgia is an example of effectively conducting political and economic reforms, and I am very happy. Romania is one of the countries that has supported Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations," Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu stated during the meeting. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries' legislative bodies and the need to facilitate high-level meetings. According to the President of the Romanian Senate, his country is well aware of the challenges facing Georgia, and Romania is committed to intensify its assistance in this direction.
