Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the United Arab EEmirates (UAE).
During the meeting, the successful cooperation between Georgia and the UAE in various fields was highlighted, as well as the prospects for further strengthening trade, economic and investment ties.
Attention was drawn to Georgia's favorable investment environment, government programs supporting businesses, projects aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector and the growing export potential.
The importance of the Tbilisi Dry Port project, which is being implemented with investments from the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, was emphasized, as well as its role in the development of the Middle Corridor. The conversation also touched on the successful conclusion of negotiations with the largest development company, EMAAR, which will result in significant investment projects in Georgia.
The meeting also focused on cooperation in the tourism sector between Georgia and the UAE, which has been significantly facilitated by the implementation of a visa-free regime. Both sides confirmed their readiness to further deepen bilateral relations across various sectors.
