Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's visit to the United Arab Emirates has started.
The Head of Government was welcomed at Abu Dhabi International Airport by UAE Minister of State Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh.
As part of the visit, the Head of Government is scheduled to meet UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
Within the scope of the visit, a memorandum on cooperation will be signed with EMAAR, a major
development company. Under the memorandum, multibillion investments will be made in Georgia.
In addition, a meeting is planned with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and its logistics direction
represented by AD Ports Group, a developer actively involved in the development of the Middle
Corridor, also carrying out the Tbilisi Dry Port project expected to be finalized in 2025. It is planned to further deepen cooperation with the company on strategic, logistics, and transport projects.
The Prime Minister of Georgia is visiting the UAE in the company of a delegation consisting of First Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvilli, Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Tornike Rizhvadze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
